It is a simple Bailee/bailor agreement….the dealership is responsible. She has to use her insurance and her insurance will subrogate against the dealership.

This is on the dealership to replace her car it's definitely all on the dealership it's there responsibility since the car that was stolen was on there lot and got stolen the part on the document shows they no responsible for thief or damage this is manly for items that are left inside of the vehicle not for the whole vehicle to be stolen

Lawyer here: 1. If the keys were in the car, it’s definitely within the dealer’s “control.” Clearly how fast the car was started showed those keys were in the car. 2. The unsigned repair waiver isn’t worth the piece of paper it’s written on “if” it’s unsigned by the consumer.

Its interesting the car was stolen. The thieves at the dealership knew it was fixed. Forreal how did the thief know the car was fixed? They had to work there or know someone who worked there. Noone would steal a car thats broken and I assume most used cars at a service center dont work right and that's why they are there.

Dealer's fault. Keys should never be left in the vehicle. hotwiring a 2017 camaro takes more than a minute. keys were either left in the vehicle or the dealer was in on the theft. they need to be investigated.

Also GM could be subpoenaed to get the data from the C7 Corvette used in the getaway car as even if you don't pay for onstar GM knows where that car is so they could start there..
